Three weeks ago we wrote up Alpha 4.10 and the instanced Siege of Orison. The follow-up arrived on 16 September: Alpha 4.10.1 went live with Orison Relief Support, a limited-time event built around the aftermath of the Nine Tails attack.

What the event is

In CIG's words, "Crusader Industries, in conjunction with valiant support organizations, is coordinating a widespread campaign to supply and secure relief efforts after a vicious Nine Tails assault." In game terms, that means contracts from four Crusader-backed providers, all feeding a single personal reward track.

The work covers most of the game's playstyles: medical deliveries, supply hauling in small, medium and large sizes, resource gathering, fabrication orders, and ground and space combat against Nine Tails forces. Whatever you already like doing in the verse, there is probably a relief contract for it.

What you earn

Filling the track unlocks six SecondWind-themed rewards: a pistol, a rifle and an SMG, plus light, medium and heavy armour. The event is time limited, so if you want the full set, do not leave it until the last week.

Running it with the org

Relief contracts can be run solo or in a party, and a hauler with an escort is a much safer way to move medical supplies past the Nine Tails.
