Analytics on this site
theexiles.gg uses a self-hosted Matomo instance to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets first-party cookies and records your approximate location, browser type, and the pages you view. That data stays on our own server. Nobody else receives it and we never sell it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and the site will work fine without them.
Server logs
Like every website, our rented server keeps standard access logs (your IP address plus the request made). We use them for debugging and abuse prevention, and they rotate out on a schedule.
