It's launch day. ExilesMC Aero, the modpack our team has been building in-house, is now live on the community server. Over 500 mods on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1, held together by a custom quest campaign that takes you from pedal-powered contraptions to jetpacks, airships and, eventually, rockets bound for real solar-system planets.

The engineering heart of the pack is Create Aeronautics: Create contraptions that physically fly, so the airship you design is the airship you sail. Around it sit deep tech from Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2 and Powah, magic from Ars Nouveau and Apotheosis, and a whole Star Wars layer with planets to visit, flyable ships with hyperdrives, lightsabers and blasters.
