Last week we flagged the supply initiative kicking off Colonia's tenth anniversary. It has now run its first phase, and Frontier's GalNet has called the result a partial success.

Here is what happened. The Brewer Corporation cargo megaships stationed at Facece have been loaded with the commodities and rare goods that commanders delivered, and the fleet has begun its long haul out to Colonia. So the supplies are moving. The turnout simply landed short of a runaway triumph, hence "partial."

Why a partial win still counts

"Partial success" is Elite being honest about how player-fed events actually work. Nobody scripted a guaranteed win. The community showed up, moved a serious amount of cargo across 22,000 light years, and there is still room for more hands before the celebrations wrap. If you sat the first haul out, the door has not closed.

It is also a reminder of what Colonia is. The place was not built by a patch. It grew out of the Jaques Station saga, when players hauled a stranded station into deep space and then kept supplying it. A supply drive that succeeds only as far as the community carries it is, honestly, the most on-brand way for Colonia to mark ten years.

The anniversary rolls on

The megaships are en route, the celebrations continue, and Colonia remains one of the great destinations in the galaxy whether or not you were part of the first wave. If you have never made the trip, an anniversary is as good a reason as any.
