CIG has revealed the Gatac Railen, a Xi'an cargo freighter arriving in Star Citizen shortly. Xi'an engineering follows its own logic, and the Railen shows it: a segmented, insect-like hull with an external cargo spine that looks like nothing else in the current ship lineup.

The reveal is well timed. Alien Week, the annual event celebrating Xi'an and Banu culture, is about to begin across the game. Meanwhile CIG continues to work through the Alpha 4.8 known issues list, with the stated priority of improving stability before the next major content release.
