CCP Games has released Cradle of War, the latest expansion for EVE Online, alongside patch 23.02. As the name suggests, the theme is conflict. The centrepiece is military campaigns, a rolling series of objective-driven operations that draw capsuleers into contested space, beginning with the Bulwark Mining campaign.

The launch season also brings new Empire SKINs, faction celebrations and the usual round of expansion events. Industrialists have a war economy to supply, and combat pilots have somewhere to point their fleets. Whichever side of that equation you sit on, there's a good reason to undock right now.
