Frontier had two announcements this week. The Operations update, which introduces team-based multi-stage missions, now has a confirmed release date of 30 June, arriving together with a galaxy-wide lighting overhaul. And the update will bring a new ship: the Nomad.
The reveal follows Frontier's annual results, which showed one of the strongest years in the studio's history, and a stated commitment to further Elite Dangerous content. After a long stretch where new ships were rare news, a confirmed date and a new hull in the same week is a welcome change of pace.
"A new ship and a new mission system in the same update. The 30th can't come soon enough."

Getting ready
Operations are built for wings, so now is a good time to sort out who you'll be flying with. The squadron is on Inara, and our Discord is open. We'll be running the new missions from day one.
